Lean Administration & Production

The overall goal of our client, a leading manufacturer of highly complex printed circuit board solutions, was to further develop and anchor the lean concept in order processing and production. In addition to strengthening customer orientation, reducing throughput times, identifying optimisation potential and developing and implementing concrete measures, taking into account quality requirements and certifications, a high level of involvement of the employees and departments concerned was desired.

More than 20 improvement measures were defined and implemented. The newly developed segmentation of customer enquiries and orders, as well as the creation of a structured service catalogue, has led to clear guidelines regarding lead times, quality and use of resources. The implemented measures led to significant improvements in response times and costs, among other things.
